Pixels was growing in English-speaking communities but new to the CIS and Europe, so we ran a localized, retention-first onboarding sprint with regional creators to grow active players.

Social farming and world-building Web3 game on Ronin

The challenge: Pixels had momentum as a social farming game on Ronin, but its growth was concentrated in a few English-speaking communities. Entering the CIS and Europe meant reaching new players with little local-language presence and holding them past the first-session drop-off that affects most Web3 games. Paid acquisition alone was proving expensive and shallow.

Our strategy: We built an onboarding sprint across the CIS and Europe that treated retention as the primary goal, not just installs. Local creators and community rituals were used to guide new players through their first quests and land them in the social loop that makes Pixels sticky, with messaging localized for regional audiences. This work was scoped to a CIS and Europe campaign, not Pixels' global footprint.

What we did: We activated 31 regional gaming creators to stream early gameplay and guild onboarding, ran always-on social content across X and TikTok, and stood up local-language Discord and Telegram channels with guided first-week quest paths. Community managers ran daily events to convert curiosity into habit.

Channels: YouTube KOLs, TikTok, X, Discord, Telegram

The results: The sprint brought 2.8K new active players into Pixels across the CIS and Europe, with campaign content reaching 840K people and seven-day retention up 29% versus the prior regional baseline. Localized creators and community onboarding shifted growth from expensive paid installs toward a durable, self-sustaining player loop.
