Dogecoin's name recognition was huge, but its community energy had gone flat between price spikes. We rebuilt a creator and social engine to revive its tipping culture and grow active members.

The original community-driven meme coin

The challenge: Dogecoin carried enormous name recognition, but its day-to-day community energy had drifted from the tipping and merchant culture that built it. Across Europe, engagement outside of price-driven spikes was flat, and newcomers had little structured on-ramp into the community. This was scoped to a single CIS and Europe community awareness campaign, not Dogecoin's global holder base or market position.

Our strategy: We treated Dogecoin as a community brand rather than a ticker, rebuilding a consistent content cadence and a clear reason for European newcomers to join beyond speculation. Creator and social work was sequenced to revive the coin's original tipping and merchant-acceptance story first, then convert that attention into active, retained community members.

What we did: We activated 24 vetted crypto and culture creators across X and YouTube, ran a daily social calendar of community-first content, and stood up moderated onboarding across Telegram and Reddit. PR reinforced merchant-acceptance milestones, while community managers ran creator contests and tipping challenges to keep participation high between news cycles.

Channels: X, YouTube KOLs, Telegram, Reddit, Tier-1 PR

The results: The campaign added 3.2K new community members across Europe and reached 780K people, with social engagement up 47% against the pre-campaign baseline. Twenty-four creators anchored the push, and the revived tipping and merchant narrative — not a price event — became the reason new members stayed active.
