Robinhood entered new CIS and European markets where investing apps compete on hype-led bonuses, so we built an education-first creator engine that turned installs into funded, retained investors.

Commission-free investing and brokerage app

The challenge: Robinhood was launching across Poland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Romania, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece into a category where aggressive sign-up bonuses drive installs that never fund. Its early campaigns delivered downloads that stalled before the first deposit, inflating effective CAC, while an unfamiliar brand and regulator-shaped expectations meant new users needed reassurance before moving money. Growth had to produce funded, retained investors rather than vanity installs.

Our strategy: We built an education-first engine designed to convert intent, not chase cheap installs. Local personal-finance creators explained investing basics and demonstrated the app, a consistent content calendar reinforced trust, and PR established credibility with each regional audience. The engagement was scoped to a focused CIS and Europe campaign, not Robinhood's global footprint, and the whole funnel was optimized toward funded accounts rather than downloads, with positioning tuned to local regulation and expectations.

What we did: We activated 20 personal-finance and investing creators across Poland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Romania, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece to produce explainer-led content mapped to real user questions, backed by a daily social calendar and localized store creative. Advisory work aligned messaging and onboarding with each market's regulatory framing, PR placed the launch in regional financial press, and spend was reallocated weekly toward the creators and formats producing the lowest cost per funded investor.

Channels: YouTube KOLs, TikTok, Instagram, Tier-1 PR, Paid social

The results: Over three quarters the launch grew to 3.2K funded investors putting $30M into the platform, with the education-led mix cutting blended CAC 29% against the initial paid model. Across Poland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Romania, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece the app rating reached 4.6 as onboarding clarity improved, and funded-account quality held well above the download-first benchmark the launch started from.
