Bittensor had deep technical credibility but thin developer awareness across the CIS and Europe. We built a technical KOL, PR and community engine around its subnet economy.

Decentralized network for open, incentivized machine intelligence

The challenge: Bittensor sat at the center of the decentralized-AI conversation, but its subnet economy was legible only to a small circle of researchers and validators. Across Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Poland, Romania, Georgia, Armenia and Uzbekistan, awareness among applied ML developers and infrastructure teams lagged well behind the network's technical progress, and the subnet model was widely misread as too abstract to build on.

Our strategy: We positioned Bittensor as a practical place to earn for producing real machine intelligence, not a theoretical experiment. Every KOL brief, PR beat and community initiative was anchored to a concrete subnet use case, so a skeptical developer could see exactly what running a miner or validator involved.

What we did: Over seven months we ran tiered technical KOL campaigns across YouTube and X with ML engineers and infrastructure creators, secured explainer-led coverage in Tier-1 crypto and AI press, and rebuilt the Discord and Telegram developer channels into moderated, well-documented onboarding spaces. The work was scoped as a focused CIS and Europe campaign rather than a play across Bittensor's full global footprint. Each major subnet milestone was packaged into a plain-English narrative.

Channels: YouTube KOLs, X, Discord, Telegram, Tier-1 PR

The results: Across the campaign in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Poland, Romania, Georgia, Armenia and Uzbekistan, Bittensor engaged 1.8K developers and infrastructure operators, with 46 technical KOLs driving 520K in qualified reach. The developer community grew 2.3x over the engagement, and the subnet model moved from a niche research topic to a build target applied ML teams took seriously.
