Render needed more GPU supply as AI workloads joined its rendering base. We built a supply-side engine of KOLs, PR and community to onboard node operators across Poland, Germany, Romania, Czechia, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Serbia.

Decentralized GPU rendering and AI compute network

The challenge: Render's demand for GPU compute was climbing as AI workloads joined its original 3D-rendering base, but supply growth was concentrated among a small group of early node operators. Across Poland, Germany, Romania, Czechia, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Serbia, prospective providers with idle hardware either had not heard of the network or saw node setup as too technical to be worth the effort.

Our strategy: We treated the campaign as a classic supply-side acquisition problem: make the economics of contributing a GPU obvious, and make setup feel achievable. Messaging led with real operator earnings and utilization rather than token speculation, and every asset pointed toward a documented onboarding path. The work was scoped to a focused CIS and Europe campaign, not Render's global footprint.

What we did: We activated hardware-focused YouTube reviewers and technical crypto KOLs to walk through real node deployments, ran always-on social content around operator economics, and secured Tier-1 coverage of network milestones and AI-compute integrations. Community managers supported new operators through Discord and Telegram as fresh capacity came online.

Channels: YouTube KOLs, X, Discord, Telegram, Tier-1 PR

The results: The campaign onboarded 1.4K node operators across Poland, Germany, Romania, Czechia, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Serbia and lifted available network GPU supply 43% over the period, supported by 38 technical KOLs and 280K in reach. Supply-side growth kept pace with rising AI demand, and node onboarding shifted from a trickle of early adopters to a repeatable pipeline.
